Thank you for choosing Robinson Equestrian to help you learn how to ride horses.  We are excited to work with you!  Please take a moment to give us your information and complete our rider release form and lesson agreement.

Client information:

The Client and Robinson Equestrian agree as follows:

The Services

  1. Robinson Equestrian will provide client with access to one riding lesson per week.  The riding lessons will be a 30 minute private.  Robinson Equestrian Riding School closes for 4 weeks each year (one week per quarter). The breaks give lesson horses a rest, allows students to compete at horse shows without missing lessons, allows Robinson Equestrian to host special events and gives our instructors well deserved time off. The weeks that are off will be communicated via text, in person and will be posted on our client Facebook group. It is encouraged that students will work on their curriculum books during weeks off.

  2. Riders will start with the pre-school program until their instructor recommends they are ready to join the full blown lesson program.

  3. Clients will receive access to a 30 minute goal setting session every 6 months

Client Requirements

  1. Client must show up on time.

  2. Client must be wearing proper riding attire: official riding boots, an ASTM/SEI certified riding helmet, breeches.

  3. Client must be coachable, positive, and have a good attitude!

  4. We are trying to build a family-like community full of people like YOU.

Compensation and Payment Terms

  1. Our monthly tuition price is based on the annual value.  Client will be charged $250 tuition per month. If client does not own or lease their own horse they will be provided a horse from our pool of lesson horses. Charges will  begin on the first day of enrollment and continue every month thereafter.  If client needs to change their lesson package please contact us at 717-527-6701. Payments can be made via check payable to Robinson Equestrian, Venmo @Robinson-Equestrian, or automatic monthly withdraws via Stripe (preferred method).

  2. Robinson Equestrian runs on a quarterly commitment schedule. It is possible to join the program at any point throughout the year, but the commitment runs per quarter. The quarters are January to March, April to June, July to September, and October to December. Students will be automatically re-enrolled into the upcoming quarter if the student does not give notice at least 30 days before the end of the quarter. If the student chooses to stop riding in the middle of a quarter, they are still financially responsible for the remainder of the quarter.

Scheduling

  1. Client will receive a dedicated day and time each week for their lesson(s). Please remember that Robinson Equestrian will be closed 4 weeks per year.

  2. If client cannot make their scheduled lesson Robinson Equestrian will allow a maximum of one makeup lesson per month- provided that client cancels by texting 717-527-6701 at least twenty four hours prior to the lesson.   If a lesson is not made up within 60 days it will expire.   Monthly tuition is still due in full when student misses their lessons.  In the event that the weather prevents riding- unmounted horsemanship lessons will be substituted.  In the event that weather prevents the barn from being open- a make up can be scheduled that does not count as the one make up per month.  The best way to get the most value out of the program is to make it a priority and a commitment not to miss your dedicated lesson time(s)

  3.  If client would like to make a long-term change to their dedicated lesson time, they may do so a maximum of 1 time in a 90 day period by calling or texting 717-527-6701.

Cancellation

Student will be continually re-enrolled at their current upfront/ monthly rate until Robinson Equestrian is contacted via email or text message (robeq.general@gmail.com; 717-527-6701) and the payment plan is updated.

Robinson Equestrian runs on a quarterly commitment (semesters). Semesters run January to March, April to June, July to September, and October to December. This means cancellations for the upcoming semester can occur March 1st, June 1st, September 1st, and December 1st. If the student decides to take a semester off we cannot guarantee their spot in a future semester.

If the student chooses to stop riding in the middle of a quarter, they are still financially responsible for the remainder of the quarter.

If your subscription is cancelled, all make up lessons that have been accumulated are forfeited regardless of reason for cancellation.

No Guarantee

The company does not warrant or guarantee any specific level of performance or results.  The results of your riding program are largely based on the efforts of the student. For best results we encourage you to take advantage of as many opportunities as possible at Robinson Equestrian.
